byfaithonline.com/joining-and-receiving-a-fading-footnote-or-a-summons-to-more/
Follow this link for an article I just contributed to the PCA magazine, By Faith Online. With the 30th anniversary of Joining and Receiving happening this month, I revisit how J&R came about, and I ask you this question:
Is J&R just a fading footnote in our church history, or can this reminder of what humble church leaders did 30 years ago inspire us to work harder to seek better inter-church relations today?
"I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
Ephesians 4:1-3
Believing that healthy Inter-Church relations is God's call to His Church, this blog seeks to foster learning, discussion, and action by Christians towards a more unified Church.
